A pair of graduated William Ridgway & Co buff coloured stoneware jugs, circa 1835, each decorated with Tam O'Shanter scenes, the largest jug fitted with a pewter tappit lid and collar, impressed factory marks including 'October 1 1835', heights approx 23cm and 15.5cm (minor faults).
