A Chinese blue silk embroidered formal court robe (chi fu), early 20th Century, worked in gilt and coloured threads to both sides with ten dragon roundels, against a ground of shou medallions, bats, vapours, fruit and Buddhistic emblems, above waves, rocks and two Buddhistic lions to the polychrome diagonally striped hem border, length approx 120cm (later press studs, some faults and probably re-lined).
