A Doulton Lambeth stoneware preserve jar, by Emily E. Stormer, circa 1891-1902, with plated collar, swing handle and cover, the shallow circular body incised with stylized green leaves and blue flowers above a scrolling beaded band, against a brown ground, impressed factory marks and incised artist's monogram to base, diameter approx 13.5cm, together with a James Stiff & Sons stoneware pepper caster, the ovoid body incised with a band of floral medallions between stiff leaf borders, impressed factory mark to base, height approx 9.8cm.
