A Chinese porcelain brushpot, mark of Kangxi but late Qing dynasty, of slightly lobed cylindrical form, the sides painted and gilt with vertical figural panels of sages and boys out of doors, within underglaze blue bat and vapour borders, pseudo six character mark in underglaze blue to base, height approx 15.3cm.
