LOT 1134
A late 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'G.V', the porcelain circular dial with floral centre framed by gilt Roman numerals and an eau-de-Nil border, the case with fruit cluster finial supported by a pair of opposing winged sphinx, above laurel wreaths, scrolls and flower festoons framing further porcelain panels painted with courting couples and flowers, height approx 39cm, with pendulum and key, together with a pair of similarly matched twin branch candelabra, height approx 27.5cm.
