A Japanese silk embroidered rectangular panel, early 20th Century, depicting a scene of sailing boats, approx 10cm x 14cm, within a wide section gilt frame, the silk mounted back applied with a paper label inscribed 'S. Iida, "Takashimaya", Kyoto, Japan', together with a similarly framed Japanese silk embroidered panel, titled 'Shortening Sail' after a painting by Samuel T.G. Evans, depicting British sailors shortening the sail on a mast, approx 10cm x 15cm, printed paper label to reverse.
