DIARY. A manuscript diary of Elizabeth Baker, wife of Canon William Baker, dated June 10th 1891 - March 17th 1903, folio (325 x 203mm.) Vellum-bound (damage to binding, lacking some leaves). Note: an interesting diary that mentions many notable people in addition to mountaineering in Switzerland, the Home Rule Bill, Oxford, the Suffragettes and a portrait by Sargent.
