An early 19th Century 12 inch terrestrial globe and a similar matching celestial globe, both by Cary of London, the 'New Celestial Globe... calculated for the year 1800', the 'New Terrestrial Globe' bearing date 1833, both with twelve engraved and coloured gores, fitted with brass meridian circles and papered horizons graduated in degrees with the months of the year, the points of the compass and the zodiac, the terrestrial globe with an analemma in the Pacific Ocean, both raised on ring turned stems and tripod legs, height approx 64cm.
