A Staffordshire ruby lustre decorated earthenware circular dish, late 19th Century, probably William de Morgan, the interior painted in tones of ruby with an eagle and snake in combat amidst dense scrolling foliage, the scrolling foliage repeated on the underside, diameter approx 36.2cm (minor hairline crack to rim and glaze scuffs to rim).
