A Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase, circa 1881 by Florence Barlow, of shouldered ovoid form with slightly flared neck, painted in pâte-sur-pâte with four panels of birds, one with monogram, within beaded borders against a buff ground with pâte-sur-pâte floral and leaf scroll decoration, impressed factory mark, artist's monogram and 'RB' monogram to base, height approx 35.5cm (chips and hairline crack to rim).
