LOT 1144
An early 19th Century mahogany longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, date aperture and inscribed 'JN Lewis, Chalford' and dated '1825', cornered with figural scenes beneath a scene of a gentleman and dogs to arch, the flat top hood with moulded pediment above a glazed door and turned pillars, the trunk with triple arched door flanked by turned pilasters on a plain base, height approx 213cm, with pendulum and weight (alterations and restoration).
