LOT 1135
A George III mahogany cased bracket clock with Continental eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the back plate with floral and scroll engraved decoration, the matched brass beak arch dial with silvered chapter ring and alarm circle on a matt ground, cornered by cast and pierced gilt mask and scroll spandrels, beneath a silvered boss inscribed 'Henry Stockar, London', the case with bell top and brass carry handle, above four gilt brass pineapple finials, the sides with brass drop handles and pierced scale fret panels, the glazed front door with inlaid decoration, on a rectangular plinth and brass bracket feet, height approx 57cm (alterations), with pendulum.
