A mid-Victorian oak cased drop dial wall clock, the eight day twin fusee five pillar movement with dead beat escapement and Harrisons maintaining power, striking hours on a gong, the painted circular dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'E. Hird & Sons, Ambleside', the simulated rosewood case with moulded circular surround, the case with inlaid panels to front and curved door, flanked by a pair of carved and pierced acorn and oak leaf mouldings, height approx 61cm, with pendulum and winding key.
