A First World War period bronze memorial plaque, detailed 'William Cheal'. Note: William Cheal is believed to be the soldier who served as a Lance Corporal in the 2nd Battalion Royal Sussex Regiment, later transferring to the Labour Corps, who died on 10th June 1919, aged 31, and is buried in the Marcinelle New Communal Cemetery.
