A pair of French gilt metal mounted Sèvres style porcelain jars and a cover, late 19th Century, each circular body painted with gilt framed scenes of courting couples and landscapes, on a bleu céleste ground, the pierced gilt metal rim above faun mask shouldered legs, terminating in hoof feet on a triform base, height approx 29.5cm (one cover missing).
