A pair of Royal Worcester bone china ewers, circa 1907, painted by William Hawkins, each shouldered ovoid body finely painted with an oval still life study of fruit and flowers, signed, within a frame of raised gilt overlaid scrolling tendrils, berries and leaves, the green glazed and relief moulded border with trefoil pinched rim flanked by a foliate scroll handle, on a circular domed foot, green printed factory mark including shape number '1309' to bases, height approx 39cm. Note: William Hawkins (1858-1930) was at the factory between 1874 and 1928 and for many years the foreman of the men painters department.
