A mid-19th Century French gilt metal mounted alabaster mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the dial applied with gilt Roman numerals and inscribed 'R.Salisbury, Paris', the case with urn surmount above a glazed lenticle, on a rectangular base and turned feet, height approx 40cm, together with a pendulum, winding key, glass dome and ebonized stand.
