LOT 1050
A George V walnut longcase clock with eight day movement chiming on gongs, the brass break arch dial with silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds and applied silvered plaque inscribed 'Maple, London', the arch with silvered 'strike/silent' indicator, all cornered with brass putti, crown and scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment above a glazed door, pierced fret panels and barley twist columns, the rectangular trunk door with line inlaid decoration and applied border moulding, on a similar base and carved reeded bun feet, height approx 201cm, together with pendulum and three weights.
