An early Victorian silver sweetmeat basket with pierced floral and scrolling stem handle above a tapering wirework body applied with scrolling foliate stems, raised on foliate scroll feet, London 1844 by Edward, Edward jun, John & William Barnard, fitted with an opaline glass liner, height approx 10cm (chips to liner).
