A mid-19th Century French ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'AB' (Achille Brocot) within a star, the porcelain circular dial pained with two Cupids to the centre within a surround of Roman numerals on a puce ground with gilt and enamelled decoration, the fluted drum case above two further porcelain panels, scrolls and laurel festoons on an inverted break front base cast with scallop shells and foliate scrolls, on foliate disc feet, height approx 37cm (lacking pendulum).
