An early 20th Century walnut framed Presidential armchair, the seat and back upholstered in claret leather, the top rail carved with a shield cartouche flanked by wheat and foliate scrolls, the sides decorated with continuous leaves, each open arm with a ram's head handrest, on fluted tapering legs, united by a shaped stretcher, the seat rail bearing a silver plaque inscribed 'Presidential Chair presented to the faculty of Radiologists by the College of Radiologists of Australasia...1955', height approx 171cm. Provenance: property of The Royal College of Radiologists.
