An Italian Ginori maiolica jar and cover, 20th Century, the ovoid body painted with an opposing design of a central fruit bowl within a surround of white and blue foliate scrolls, masks and flowerheads flanked by pairs of birds, on a gilt ground, beneath a pair of entwined serpent moulded handles, blue painted crowned 'Ginori 375' mark to base, height approx 36cm (minor chips).
