A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vases, 2nd quarter of the 19th Century, each shouldered ovoid body and flared neck finely painted with various shaped figural panels, reserved against a ground filled with flower baskets, auspicious objects, fruit, butterflies and flowers, each applied with a pair of gilt Buddhistic lion cub and ball handles above gilt chilong to shoulders, height approx 57cm (one badly damaged, the other minor restoration).
