LOT 1106
A Chinese brown patinated bronze censer with wooden cover, mark of Xuande but probably 18th Century, the oblong bombé body decorated in low relief with eight seated sages divided by panels of bats, between key fret borders, flanked by lion mask handles, on scroll feet, cast six character mark to rim, the domed cover carved and pierced with scrolling tendrils, length approx 14cm.
