A Japanese Satsuma earthenware tea caddy, probably by Kanzan, Meiji period, the swollen square section body finely painted and gilt with opposing interior and exterior figural scenes, within simulated brocade borders, gilt signature to base rubbed, height approx 12.5cm (lacking cover).
