Original cloth (extremities bumped, spine slightly faded). Provenance: Edward Pane (presentation inscription signed by the author 'For Edward Pane, With all good wishes from his old friend the author Beverley Nichols, 1950' to front-free endpaper). - And one other signed volume by Nichols ('Down the Garden Path', London: 1938. 8vo) (2).
