An early 20th Century Italian green patinated cast bronze figural stand in the form of Bacchus holding a serpent aloft, supporting a circular ring with three applied anthemion mounts, the portly figure wearing a loincloth and appearing to strain under the weight, the circular base cast with scrolls and stylized grapes, height approx 61cm.
