LOT 1108
A late 19th Century Egyptianesque ormolu and porcelain clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain dial with black Roman numerals on a matt terracotta ground filled with polychrome flowers and scrolls, inscribed 'Susse Fres, Paris', flanked by a pair of similarly decorated side panels, the case surmounted with an Egyptian Pharaoh standing in a scallop shell with two crocodiles on chains, flanked by a pair of foliate columns with urn finials and sphinx terminals, the breakfront base centred with an eagle with outstretched wings, height approx 35.5cm, flanked by a pair of matching porcelain urns and covers, with pendulum and giltwood stands (one urn restored, matched mounts to urns, re-gilded and minor faults).
