LOT 1002
An early 20th Century French brass circular cased carriage timepiece, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'W. Bruford & Son, Eastbourne & Exeter', the glazed case with swing handle on a plinth base, the case inscribed "Sweet Jack Falstaff" and 'R.R', height approx 14.5cm (faults). Provenance: this timepiece was from the Estate of Sir Laurence Olivier and is believed to have been given as a gift from Sir Ralph Richardson.
