A pair of Leeds creamware Dutch decorated plates, late 18th Century, each of typical lobed silver shape, painted with a scene from the biblical story of the Prodigal Son, named in Dutch below, within a border of scrolls, depicting the Prodigal Son in Excess (Zyn Hoerery) and the Prodigal Son in Misery (Zyn Arremore), diameter approx 24.5cm (one repaired, the other in two pieces).
