LOT 847
A mid-18th Century South Staffordshire enamel snuff box with gilt metal mounts, of rectangular form, the hinge lid decorated after Robert Hancock with a scene of a bird perched on the rim of an overturned fruit basket, the sides with flower vignettes, all within gilt scroll frames against a green ground, the interior with gilt metal hinged lid revealing inscription 'Emparezmon Coeur' to base interior, length approx 5cm (restoration and faults).
