A late 18th Century tortoiseshell oval snuff box with silver mounts and hinge, the lid finely piqué inlaid in two-colour gold and silver with a central panel of trophies of war within a surround of flowers and ribbon, the sides and base with scattered flowers, length approx 9.2cm (minor faults).
