LOT 1132
A late 18th Century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial and chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, engraved with an archway and foliate scrolls and inscribed 'Jas Douglas, Chertsey', cornered by pierced scroll spandrels, the hood with stepped pediment above a glazed door flanked by fluted and reeded pilasters, the trunk door carved with fleur-de-lis and flowers, on a plain base with bracket feet, height approx 208cm, together with a pendulum, two weights and a winder (alterations and restoration).
