LOT 1100
A George III ebonized bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the brass breakarch dial with subsidiary silvered 'strike/silent' and second dials, flanking a recessed silvered plaque to the arch inscribed 'John Ward, Cripplegate Buildings, London', above a silvered dial with Roman hour numerals, Arabic minutes and date aperture, cornered with pierced and cast gilt foliate scroll spandrels, the backplate with engraved foliate scrolls and flowers, the case with bell top and brass carry handle flanked by turned and flame finials, above glazed doors and sides, on bracket feet, height approx 52.5cm, together with a pendulum (alterations and faults).
