A 19th Century French brown patinated cast bronze inkwell, the circular removable lid surmounted by two wild horses, revealing a gilt interior fitted with a cut glass well, the ogee shaped body cast with acanthus leaves and scrolls, with three single footed winged beast supports united by a stepped circular base, height approx 24cm.
