A Meissen porcelain figural salt, late 19th Century, modelled as a cook holding a plucked goose seated between two floral painted shells, raised on a scroll moulded naturalistic base, crossed swords in underglaze blue to base with indistinct incised numerals, height approx 15cm (minor faults and repairs).
