A George V R.N.R. officer's sword, number 3278, with straight single edged blade, length approx 78cm, etched with crowned 'GRV' cypher, anchor and 'R.N.R.', brass hilt with folding guard, engraved 'J.A.G. Craven', wire bound sharkskin covered grip with bullion knot, in its brass mounted leather scabbard with later cover and sword belt.
