A large Villeroy and Boch rectangular wall plaque, late 19th Century, painted in sepia colours with a romantic landscape view of three ladies being courted by two gentlemen, watched by Cupid, within an elaborate gilt enriched scroll and shell moulded frame, heightened in purple enamels, applied in high relief to one side with a cornucopia and putto, a smaller low relief Cupid playing cymbals to the opposite corner, printed, impressed and painted factory marks to reverse with impressed numerals '2353', dimensions approx 59cm x 38cm.
