A Chinese export lacquer brisé fan, mid-19th Century, the guards and fourteen sticks with gilt overlaid figural and foliate decoration, the paper panel painted to both sides with continuous figural scenes, each figure with appliqué silk costume and ivory facial detail within floral borders, length approx 28cm.
