Jean Jules Salmson - a pair of late 19th Century French brown patinated cast bronze figures, one modelled as a scholar holding a folio under his arm, the other as an artist holding a palette in his left hand, each standing on a stepped circular base with cast signature 'Salmson', both raised on a black slate plinths, heights approx 47cm and 45cm.
