A Minton Hollins & Co. commemorative match holder and striker, of rectangular shape printed in brown to each side with a perpetual calendar inscribed 'Remember 1914' above the flared base printed with a view of the Lusitania, inscribed 'May 7 1915 .... torpedoed and sunk, 1198 lives lost', the top fitted with a removable vesta holder, remains of green printed factory mark to base, height approx 19cm.
