A pair of English ironstone Mason's type two handled vases with pierced covers, early 19th Century, the cobalt blue glazed bodies gilt to one side with peony and other flowers, to the other side butterflies and insects on grasses, flanked by gilt handles with mask terminals, the pierced covers gilt with scattered insects, unmarked, height approx 30cm (faults and restoration).
