A Chinese blue and white export porcelain tea caddy and cover, late Qianlong period, of flattened rectangular form, painted with quail in a landscape setting, the rounded shoulders with basketweave moulding and gilt foliate detail, height approx 12.5cm (small chip to rim), together with a Chinese Canton famille rose teapot and cover, mid-19th Century, typically painted with birds, insects and flowers.
