MILNE, A.A. Now We Are Six. London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1927. First edition, 8vo (188 x 119mm.) Illustrations and decorations by E.H. Shepard. (A few leaves with minor soiling.) Original limp red calf gilt, g.e. (spine somewhat rubbed and slightly chipped at head and foot). Note: the de luxe issue. Provenance: inscription to front-free endpaper ('Mother with love & best wishes for a very late Birthday Present from Lionel 29/10/27').
