A Japanese Satsuma earthenware koro by Kinkozan, with pierced silver cover, Meiji period, the ovoid body finely painted and gilt with three circular panels depicting figural scenes including bijin and children, reserved against a blue/green ground filled with gilt and silver overlaid chrysanthemum and scrolling foliage, impressed signature to base, total height approx 23cm (minor rim restoration).
