A Mintons majolica jardinière, 1870s, the cobalt blue glazed body with ochre glazed strapwork enclosing Art Nouveau style leaves, flanked by ochre glazed animal head handles, supported on an ochre glazed frame of four hoof feet emanating from satyr masks, raised on a green glazed shaped base, impressed shape No. '1009' to base, height approx 44cm (glued repair to one handle, some chips).
