A Cantagalli maiolica two handled vase, late 19th/early 20th Century, the tapered body painted to one side with a round panel of a Cupid skipping flanked by trophies of war, to the reverse a lion grotesque, against a cobalt blue ground between foliate banding, the handles formed as green glazed serpents, blue painted cockerel mark to base, height approx 25cm (small chip to foot).
