A late 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with stamped 'AB' makers mark, the porcelain dial with Roman numerals against an eau de nil and gilt ground embellished with red paste jewels, the centre painted with a bird and flowers and inscribed 'Dent...Strand, London', the case with urn surmount above an arched pediment flanked by female busts, wreath handles and scroll columns, the front inset with a porcelain panel painted with storks and lilies within an eau de nil and gilt border, flanked by opposing porcelain panels, on a breakfront base with ribbon bow, scrolls and inset porcelain panel, on turned feet, height approx 37cm, together with pendulum, key and giltwood base.
