A Meissen porcelain figure group emblematic of taste, late 19th/early 20th Century, modelled as a gentleman seated on a tree stump pouring a glass of wine, his standing female companion with an apron of flowers, raised on a naturalistic base moulded with pink and turquoise enriched gilt edged scroll detail, blue crossed swords to base, incised numerals '2980' and impressed '61', height approx 18.5cm (minor faults).
