BIBLE, In Greek. Vetus et Novum Testamentum… edidit Angelus Maius. Rome: 1857. 5 vols., large 4to (317 x 222mm.) 2 frontispieces and 1 folding plate. (Minor marginal browning.) Contemporary half-vellum, the spines gilt in five unequal compartments, lettering pieces in the second and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt (slightly soiled, extremities slightly bumped). Provenance: Downing Library (bookplate to front pastedown of vol. I).
